  I would have recommended this hotel but now I will never stay here again and would urge anybody to reconsider until the hotel accounts for the actions and attitude of the staff.

  The rooms are basic but nice and clean with air conditioning, hair drier, fridge and safe (key available at reception for a fee).

  Just arrived but impressed already. My room is just right for me and a great view of the beach and the whole of Benidorm. The bathroom is superb and a large shower. Pool area is a nice size. In the quiet side of town and a long walk to the other side of town. The restaurant is large and I enjoyed the food that was on offer.

  The amazing views come at a price though, the hotel is only a few meters away from the beach but on top of a very steep hill. There are steps to get down to the beach but I prefer the easier long way around.

  Excellent rooms. Full and halfbord great, hotel tidy and clean 24/7. Large swimming pool quite warm, nice bar to. Does sandwiches as well

  The swimming pool is a decent size but in the summer gets really busy.

  One of the best views in Benidorm in quieter area away from the loud music. Still there is anything you may need close by: Mercadona supermarket, pharmacy, beach shops, restaurants and bars. But I would still come every year only for the food: well freshly cooked, uncomplicated all-you-can-eat buffet with Spanish and international dishes always including at lunchtime a properly made paella of some kind. Yummy!

  I had written a positive review about this hotel, but sadly, following the final day of my stay, I had to change my opinion as I for one would never stay at this hotel again.

  At the beach there is a public library under a gazebo and facilities for bathing wheelchair users.

  I had to miss breakfast on the last day as I had to spend the morning desperately close to the toilet, and having only eaten at the hotel, can only assume that it was something I had eaten there. I had also eaten different food to my partner, and so was able to assume the problem dish. This was an inconvenience, but is sometimes understandable, and so would not necessarily have affected my opinion. However, after a long wait for the lift in order to finally check out, there are not enough lifts by the way and so ended up struggling down the stairs with luggage having finally given up, we reached reception.

  It was at this point that the girl on reception said that we had not paid for drinks at dinner and so would have to settle the bill. We had paid cash the night before, for the 2 beers we drank, the same as every other night, but this payment had not been registered by them and so they were effectively calling us thieves.

  I had previously commented how the "Staff are friendly and attentive", but on the last evening they were not at all attentive, spending most of the time huddled together talking. One guest even had to ask a chef to help them get drinks. Perhaps this was where the confusion arose, and not that the transaction was not recorded for another more sinister reason, such as a scam which had been reported on another travel site. I can only assume that the payment wasn´t recorded because of their inattentiveness, not through theft. That said, to then be accused of theft for their incompetence is not acceptable.
