  Very good location if you want to sample the old town tapas bars, shops. Good room size and clean. Rooftop swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Road noise for the light sleepers. Get up early if you want warm cooked breakfast as it was put out only once in trays and soon goes cold

  The magic cafe was brilliant and the bar staff were very good especially Anita and Javier. Always smiling and had great customer service. The entertainment staff I could not fault, Charlie was excellent with all the kids and that adults too. Would recommend my family and friends to stay here. Will definitely come back in the near future . The food was also very good, a big variety for choice.

  FOOD is only slightly better than canteen food and nothing to write home about, some of it tasted weired and not how it should, there is a variety but a lot of it just is not great.

  Myself, my husband, and our 15 year old daughter spent 11 days at The Magic Cristal Hotel and we were very impressed. The hotel is lovely, the staff are friendly and helpful, and our room was a great size, only let down by not having a balcony. The food was good and plentiful, our only complaint is not having proper Spanish bacon, it was more like fried ham, and it was impossible to get dessert after 8pm in the lower restaurant as it was not replenished once it had all gone, which was disappointing as the apple pie and apple crumble was amazing. It would be nice to have more sun loungers on the roof terrace as several times they were all being used when we went up there, and the hotel WiFi wouldn't work on the roof terraces or in the Magic Cafe. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Highly recommend.

  CLEANLINESS the rooms are clean generally although the floors could be cleaned a bit better, if you buy any glasses from a shop that look like the ones used in the hotel (especially the pint glasses) make sure you put them in your suitcase because they will take them, we had two smaller half pint dimple glasses we purchased at a nearby shop that the hotel DO NOT USE yet they took them from our room regardless, we are out of pocket by €2 because they did not even bother checking with us, bear this in mind.

  The reception is dreadfully depressing as is the pub style bar which serves the outside seating to the front of the hotel.

  It's what it is...a very dated 1970's/80's looking hotel in desperate need of total refurbishment.
