  There are many positives about Agua Azul Hotel. The location is good if you want to be close to the old town. The rooms are very contemporary, all with walk in showers rather than them being over the bath. There is a little Frigde in rooms and a nice flat screen TV. The few things that let the hotel down are enough to stop me going again. First, the scramble to get to the pool sunbeds when the pool area opens in the morning is threatening. There are not enough beds leaving to a rush to put towels on beds even when not being used. This is not policed by staff leaving many beds not being used throughout the day. 2. The staff need to be more proactive in resolving issues. The TV in the room only had one channel showing. This was reported to reception staff who merely commented how other guests' has tampered with it with no suggestion of them trying to fix it. It needed retuning. All these are easily resolvable but will take effort on the part of the hotel.

  Just returned from our second visit to the aqua azul just as good as last year if not better. Good food, very clean and great staff. Would also like to thank staff for bottle of cava on ice and card in room for our anniversary, nice touch ! Hotels itself is in great location, very close to the old town but not to far from the New. We have recommended hotel to our friends who have now booked for next year, so the hotel must be doing something right. Thanks again for another great stay and will be back next year.

  Excellent food and staff, a holiday made better by a great hotel, although I will say the music before the main act comes at 22-00 needs updating.

  A top place to stay. The pool is secluded and away from the main street. Food is lovely and staff are great.
