  The staff on reception were nice and pleasant though, and were helpful in dealing with my check-in, and my transfer info!

  We were not told this on booking and were woken at 8am by workmen in the room next door! We then discovered that we could be moved to a superior room away from the works-- If we paid an additional premium.

  Firstly, make sure that you book block 1 as block 2 is very tired and shabby, with a list of charges for damage caused in the lift – not a very good image to start off with! The curtains (in my studio) were hanging off the rails and had holes in them, and the kitchen was in need of a lot of tlc. I had a connecting doorway to next door, which was disturbing as it was very thin and you could hear EVERYTHING, as if it were in you apartment. You could hear them IN THE BATHROOM, if you know what I mean, and when they had sex, it was embarrassingly audible. The neighbours smoked and the stench was in my studio, and as a non smoker it was unbearable, all my clothes stank as did the bedding that I had to sleep in. There was a balcony from the kitchen which DIRECTLY looked into next door’s bedroom! Very bizarre indeed!

  The beds were ok though, and the bathroom was ok as well.The shower was good. The place was clean(ish), but just very tired and seriously in need of an overhaul.

  I loved my stay here staff were very helpful and kind .So close to the beach and i love the Tapas bars in the oldtown.The rooms were great pleaty of space and very clean going go back again everything u need its here enjoy

  All in all, a very big disappointment, as the photos look SO much better than the studio you get. Apparently Jet2 have the refurbished block one on their books, but if you book independently you don’t know which block you’ll get!
